Salvation is the best gift you will ever receive, the only one that can never be taken away, and it is a gift that is always available to you as long as there is air in your lungs. 1. You must admit that you are sinful, that you have done things in your life to displease God.
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
2. You must know that you deserve to be punished for your sin.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
3. You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God sent His son, Jesus, down to earth to die on the cross for your sins and that He was raised from the dead on the third day.
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
